Pranish Nolton and Asenaca Ranadi Rokorainuku were inducted head boy and head girl of Suva Special School during their prefects’ induction ceremo­ny yesterday.

15 year old Pranish said he was proud to have been given the opportunity to lead the students this year.

Originally from Rabi Island, the teenager aspires to be a policeman.

“I like helping people and as head boy I hope to be able to help our students,” he said.

His mother Tarotuma Tokaman said she was proud of her son’s achievement as Pranish is the first head boy in the family.

Head girl Asenaca Rokorainuku wants to be a nurse.

Asenaca will also be representing Fiji in women’s football at the 2019 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Abu Dhabi this March.
