Indoor playground is becoming a booming business now in Labasa, as more parents choose to take their children to a safe place after school and during holidays.

Noticing the demand for such business, Jainendra Narayan and Karishma Mudaliar seized the opportunity and opened Kid's Fun Investment last weekend.

It's a kids play centre located at Local Woods Building, opposite Sangam Nursing Institute in Labasa Town.

The Labasa couple invested $65,000 into this business.

"We invested into this business so that parents can spend some quality time with their children and children can have some fun activity," Mr Narayan said.

"We have seen that many working parents struggle to find a good safe place for children to play."

He said some places where people stay do not have a playground or compound, this would be an option.

Mrs Mudaliar, a graduate in Early Childhood Education, loves children and it has always been her dream to have a play centre for children where they can feel connected with their parents.

"We have wide range of options available for children and this is an answer to parents who are looking for a place for their kids to have fun activity," Mrs Mudaliar said.

"The play centre is open from Monday to Friday 9am to 9pm and then weekend 9am to lOpm."

She said they introduced flexible hours so that working parents were not left out.
