Children in Ba now have a safer and more modern place to play following the opening of an upgraded community park designed to give families a space to relax, socialise and enjoy outdoor activities.

He said children deserved safe, vibrant and modern spaces where they could play, grow and build lifelong friendships.

“Our children deserve safe, vibrant, and modern spaces where they can play, grow, and build lifelong friendships.

"This park is a testament to what we can achieve when government, local councils and private sector corporate citizens work hand in hand for the wellbeing of our communities,” Mr Nalumisa said.

He acknowledged Ba Motor Parts for supporting the project through its corporate social responsibility programme and commended the Ba Town Council for delivering the development.

Mr Nalumisa urged families to value and care for the new facility. “

To the families of Namosau and the wider Ba community, this beautiful space belongs to you. Let’s cherish it, protect it and fill it with laughter for generations to come,” he said. In a statement, Ba Motor Parts said every community deserve a place where children could play freely, and families could spend quality time together.

The company said it was proud to support the project and contribute to a facility that would benefit children for years to come. “Building a stronger community starts with creating spaces where childhood can flourish,” the statement said.
