Nauru Airlines to launch new Suva service on August 28
Nauru Airlines has announced the expansion of its Fiji operations with the addition of scheduled flights to Suva, beginning August 28, 2025. The new route will complement the airline’s existing weekly flights to Nadi, adding Fiji’s capital as a second gateway.

Nauru Airlines has announced the expansion of its Fiji operations with the addition of scheduled flights to Suva, beginning August 28, 2025.
The new route will complement the airline’s existing weekly flights to Nadi, adding Fiji’s capital as a second gateway.
“Suva is a strategically important market, adding a second gateway to our Fiji operations will allow us to enhance regional connectivity and offer even greater passenger, ACMI and cargo opportunities to our customers,” said Nauru Airlines CEO Robert Eoe.

From August 28, the carrier will operate a Thursday service from Nauru to Suva’s Nausori International Airport. Flight ON019 will depart Nauru at 8:45pm, arriving in Suva at 12:15am the following day.

The return service, ON020, will depart Suva on Fridays at 1:15am and arrive in Nauru at 4:50am.
Nausori International Airport, located 23 kilometres from Suva, is Fiji’s secondary international gateway after Nadi. Fiji Airports has already unveiled a master plan for the development of both facilities, which includes new gates, aerobridges, a domestic terminal upgrade, and expanded parking facilities.
Nauru Airlines currently operates a fleet of seven Boeing 737 aircraft, four dedicated to freight and three for passenger services. The airline also provides ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance and Insurance) solutions, along with charter operations across Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific, and Asia for clients ranging from governments and corporates to sports and tour groups.
