Eseta Nadakuitavuki enjoys solving problems.

The senior manager for micro finance and women’s market at Westpac, has served the sector for over 25 years.

She describes herself as a connector.

“I love to connect problems to solutions,” Ms Nadakuitavuki said.

She is the chairperson for Women Entrepreneurs and Business Council (WEBC).

It is the seventh council under the umbrella body of the Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation (FCEF), and was established in 2013.

Ms Nadakuitavuki wears many professional hats.

According to her LinkedIn account, she is:

- National Financial Inclusion Task Force member, since 2016.

- Financial Literacy Working Group chairperson, since 2016.

- Fiji Women’s Rights Movement vice chair, Governance Board member, since 2015.

- Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation vice president, and board member since 2012.

- Samabula Old Citizen Home board member for Board of Visitors, since 2003.

Private by nature, she enjoys structure.

Professional sport such as basketball, for example, excites her for its structured nature, she said.

Ms Nadakuitavuki lists travel and watching movies as her favourite pastime.

What is one place in Fiji that is on your bucket list?

Taveuni.

I’m particularly keen on visiting Bouma Falls, and seeing for myself the tagimoucia.
