Cope Construction Pte Ltd Marks 30-Year Anniversary, Honours Late Founder
Widow of founder Satya Sekran delivers emotional tribute as family and staff honour his enduring impact on the company.

Cope Construction Pte Ltd recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, paying tribute to its late founder, Satya Sekran.
In a heartfelt speech delivered by his widow, Suman Sekran, she shared how her husband left a lasting legacy within the company.
Mrs Sekran spoke during the celebratory reception held at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva, where her family joined in marking the occasion.

“This celebration is bittersweet for me,” Mrs Sekran said.
“One year and five months ago, we lost a remarkable leader and my dear husband, Satya Sekran, who served as our chairperson,” she said.
“Together, we embarked on this journey from day one, sharing a vision to not just build structures, but to create lasting legacies.
“His passion, integrity, and unwavering commitment to cope has left an indelible mark on all of us. I know he is here in spirit standing right beside me. As he always did.”
Cope Construction Limited is a family owned and operated a full-service construction company that has been in operation since 1993.
Mrs Sekran said her late husband’s vision during the young days of the company, continues to inspire the staff and management of the company.
She said Mr Satya was instrumental in shaping the company's values and guiding our growth.
“When we laid the foundation of this company, we had a dream to transform communities and enhance lives.
“From our humble beginnings, we have grown into a leader in the construction sector, completing projects that tell a story of hard work, perseverance, and collaboration.”
As the construction industry evolves with new technology and practices, so does Cope Construction Pte Ltd as they plan to equip its employees with the necessary skills and tools.
“We are committed to embracing these changes, ensuring that we not only meet the needs of today but also anticipate the challenges of tomorrow.
