$5.47m Pledged To Fund Suva Agreement

The governments of Australia and New Zealand have pledged to fund the Suva Agreement im­plementation.

The governments of Australia and New Zealand have pledged to fund the Suva Agreement im­plementation.

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka, re­vealed this during the Pacific Islands Forum (PIF) Special Leaders Retreat at the Sheraton Fiji Golf and Beach Resort last Friday night.

He acknowledged the support of the Governments of Australia and New Zealand for their initial joint offer of NZ$4 million (FJ$5.47m) towards the operationalisation of the Suva Agree­ment.

The leaders agreed in line with their commitment under the Suva Agree­ment.
