Two accused further remanded over alleged $9 robbery
Police allege that on December 13, the two accused, together with another man, assaulted a 50-year-old man who was waiting for a bus and stole $9 and a watch.

Lagani Rabukawaqa, 23, and Saimoni Macedru, 25, appeared before Resident Magistrate Yogesh Prasad, each charged with one count of aggravated robbery.

Two of the three men charged in relation to an alleged aggravated robbery at the Raiwaqa Top Shop on Milverton Road last Saturday have been further remanded in custody.
Lagani Rabukawaqa, 23, and Saimoni Macedru, 25 appeared before Resident Magistrate Yogesh Prasad with a count each of aggravated robbery.

Both accused persons have opened for self representation, and Police Prosecutor Inspector Jone Tupua has confirmed serving full disclosures.
The mater has been adjourned to December 30 before Magistrate Shageeth Somaratne's court.
