Colo-i-Suva Murder Accused Pleads Not Guilty

Colo-i-Suva murder accused, Sailosi Naivalurua, pleaded not guilty at the High Court in Suva yesterday.

Appearing before Justice Daniel Goundar, Naivalurua is alleged to have struck a 40-year-old victim with a cane knife several times following a heated argument on April 21, this year.

Justice Goundar advised the accused’s lawyer to lodge a formal application of bail in the next seven days.

Bail hearing has been set for July 3, 2020.
