FICAC charges DPP Christopher Pryde

The Director of Public Prosecutions, Christopher Pryde, has been formally charged by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC).

FICAC confirmed this morning that charges were laid against Mr Pryde on July 7, 2025.

The allegations concern claims that he approved and received payment he was not entitled to during his tenure as DPP.

The case is expected to be called at 9.30am today at the Suva Magistrates Court.
