He was charged alongside former Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama.
Bainimarama was released last December after serving two-thirds of his sentence.
As ordered by the High Court last Friday, Qiliho’s bail has now been activated.
Both men are awaiting judgment in their ongoing case. They are alleged to have interfered in a Police investigation into the photographing and circulation of images of Bainimarama’s late brother, Jonacani Bainimarama, on two Police Viber pages.
The case is before Justice Thushara Rajasinghe.
