Judgment in Apisai Madigibuli murder case adjourned
The judge said he had been reviewing everything presented during the trial and wanted the transcript finalized before making his decision.

The High Court in Suva has adjourned judgment in the murder case involving Apisai Madigibuli to May 22.
Madigibuli appeared before Justice Dane Tuiqereqere this morning, where the court had been expected to deliver its ruling.
However, the matter was adjourned after the court confirmed the trial transcript was still being completed.

Madigibuli is alleged to have murdered his 25-year-old pregnant wife at Waimanu Apartments in Suva in 2024. He is representing himself in the matter.
While addressing the court, Justice Tuiqereqere apologised for the delay and explained he wanted the full transcript ready before delivering judgment.
The judge said he had been reviewing all evidence presented during the trial and wanted the transcript finalised before making his decision.
The matter was adjourned to May 22 at 9.30am.
