Kabisi, Nadroga Murder Accused Remanded
It is alleged that the accused had stabbed Sunita Devi, 49, and her 14-year-old girl at Kabisi, Nadroga on Wednesday morning.

The 53-year-old man of Nadi, who allegedly murdered his defacto partner and struck his stepdaughter with a cane knife, was remanded by the Nadi Magistrates Court yesterday.
Anand Kumar appeared before Magistrate Peni Dalituicama charged with one count of murder, two counts of breaching the domestic violence restraining order, and one count of breaching bail conditions.
It is alleged that the accused had stabbed Sunita Devi, 49, and her 14-year-old girl at Kabisi, Nadroga on Wednesday morning.

The victim was pronounced dead at the Sigatoka hospital and the girl remains in critical condition at the Lautoka Hospital.
Magistrate Dalituicama remanded Kumar at the Natabua Remand Centre.
The matter was adjourned to August 7 for mention at the High Court in Lautoka.
