A 22-year-old man who is alleged to have attempted to murder his de facto partner has pleaded not guilty.
Ravin Prasad appeared before Judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe at the High Court in Suva yesterday.
It is alleged that on November 22, 2019, at Nasinu, Prasad attempted to murder his de facto partner, 30.

State prosecutor from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Rajneel Kumar, told the court that there were partial admissions of assault in the accused’s caution interview statement.
Defence counsel Jiten Reddy told the court that at this stage, they were not challenging the alleged admissions in the caution interview statement.
The matter has been adjourned for mention to March 16.
