Nasilasila Files Rape Appeal

7s star, Amenoni Nasilasila, who was jailed for raping a 24-year-old woman in Olosara, Sigatoka in 2018, has filed an appeal.
The 28-year-old Nasilasila was sentenced to eight years imprisonment with a non-parole period of six years by the High Court in Lautoka.
Former Western Magistrate, Mosese Naivalu who is the counsel on the appeal matter has filed an appeal for Nasilasila against his conviction.

The matter will be called before the Fiji Court of Appeal on July 17.
