No Evidence, No Case To Answer, Teacher Acquitted Of Drugs Possession Charges

A suspended 26-year-old school teacher, who was found in possession of illicit drugs, has been acquitted from all charges by the Magistrates Court in Suva.
Waseem Zafar Khan appeared before Magistrate Liyanage Wickramasekara yesterday charged by Police with two counts of found in possession of illicit drugs.
It was alleged that Khan on January 4, 2020, at Raiwaqa, without lawful authority was in possession of 0.918 grams of methamphetamine and 5.5 grams of cannabis sativa, both illicit drugs.
