Police Officer Involved In Alleged Assault Claim Identified

Police have identified an officer alleged to have been involved in an alleged Police assault case last Saturday.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro yesterday confirmed that they have identified one of the officers and were in the process of investigating it.

The alleged incident occurred last weekend whereby the complainant claimed he was assaulted by Police officers following a confrontation in Nausori Town.
