It is alleged that Naviti and another man robbed Shop N Save staff at the Rups Mega Complex as the staff were going to bank the money from the weekend’s taking.
His lawyer, John Rabuku made an application for bail.
However, Police prosecution objected to bail advising that investigations were continuing and there were others involved who needed to be apprehended.
The court remanded Naviti until August 27 for a proper bail hearing.
Prosecution and defence were told to file all necessary documents for the bail hearing.
Meanwhile, police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said police investigation was still continuing and they hoped to make more arrests in the case.
