Tabuya Charged, Bainivalu Questioned
Police have charged Lynda Tabuya with one count of Malicious Act Contrary to Section 15 (a) of the Public Order Act 1965 and she will be produced at the Suva Magistrates Court on Monday.

Opposition Whip and Member of Parliament Lynda Tabuya spent another night in custody at the Totogo Police Station last night.
Police have charged Lynda Tabuya with one count of Malicious Act Contrary to Section 15 (a) of the Public Order Act 1965 and she will be produced at the Suva Magistrates Court on Monday.
Dr Isireli Biumaitotoya has been released while Nemani Bainivalu remains in custody as investigations continue.

Ms Tabuya was taken in for questioning by officers of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) on Thursday.
Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination Commission Director Ashwin Raj visited them at the CID Headquarters yesterday and confirmed that the Fiji Police Force were taking further statements based on her caution interviews and examining potential evidence including phone records and property searches.
The Commission also confirmed that investigation officers had accompanied Ms Tabuya to her premises yesterday afternoon to conduct further investigations.
Meawhile, former FijiFirst candidate Nemani Bainivalu was also being questioned last night about his alleged post relating to COVID-19.
