Terror On Kia Waters: Poachers Allegedly Throw A Bomb-Like Item At An Elderly Villager
A ‘bomb-like item’ was allegedly thrown at a villager by suspected poachers while he was fishing.

Police have confirmed receiving two reports of alleged attacks around the Kia Island fishing grounds.
This comes after alleged poachers allegedly threw a bomb-like item at an elderly villager while he was out at sea last week.
According to Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro, the first report was made on February 15. She said four divers were caught fishing illegally by men from Yaro and Daku Village on Kia Island.

She said fishing nets were confiscated and during the process they were allegedly assaulted.
