Trial For Students On Rape Charges Starts October 26

The trial for three students on rape charges will begin on October 26 at the High Court in Suva.
Two students aged 19 and 18 and a juvenile aged 17, appeared before Justice Vinsent Perera yesterday.
The alleged incident occurred in September, 2019, at Nasinu and the complainant in the matter is a 19-year-old student from the same settlement as the three accused persons.
Related stories
The trial ends on October 30. The matter has been adjourned for mention on August 31.
Bail for all three accused students are extended.
