Truck Driver To Be Queried After 14 Days Of Self-Isolation

Police will carry out an investigation on the truck driver of Ashok Transport Limited who was flagged by the Ministry of Health and Medical Services as a potential COVID-19 case in Labasa

Police spokesperson Savaira Tabua confirmed yesterday that it was alleged the driver travelled from the North to a containment area and returned while delivering goods last week.

Ms Tabua said investigation would proceed after his 14 days of self-isolation.

She said the driver and his family were cleared from the Ministry of Health and Medical Services after another COVID-19 test result came negative on Tuesday.
