A man appeared at the Lautoka Magistrates Court yesterday charged with one count of disobedience of lawful order.
Rohit Rewal Krishna appeared before Magistrate Nayani Kasturiratne and is alleged to have breached the prohibition of the greater Lautoka area on March 23.
He is alleged to have picked up the University of Fiji Vice-Chancellor Sushila Chang from Anchorage Resort and transported her to Matawalu Village and through the border at Nacilau, Teidamu, to Nadi Airport.

Krishna was denied bail and further remanded in Police custody while second accused Sharma was charged yesterday with one count of disobedience of lawful order and will appear in court today.
Magistrate Kasturiratne adjourned the matter to April 7.
