$200 back-to-school assistance to be disbursed today

The Minister said Year 13 students will receive their payments at a later date, once enrolments are confirmed.

The Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro, has announced that the $200 Back to School Assistance payments for the 2026 school year will be disbursed today, for eligible students.

In a statement, the Minister said Year 13 students will receive their payments at a later date, once schools have confirmed enrolments.

Parents and guardians who require assistance or further information have been advised to seek support through the Ministry of Education’s District Offices or the Help Desk at Waisomo House.

The Ministry of Education has also acknowledged the continued cooperation of parents, schools, and stakeholders in ensuring a smooth start to the 2026 school year.
