Fiji National University (FNU) has closed all its campuses nationwide today, March 2, 2026, due to adverse weather conditions.
In a notice to staff and students, the university said the decision followed an official directive from the Ministry of Education, along with advisories from the Fiji Meteorological Service and the National Disaster Management Office (NDMO).
The university said the move was made to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and students amid continued heavy rainfall and flash flood warnings in place across various divisions.
