Jopeci Tulovo rewrote his own story yesterday, showing that learning has no limits for those brave enough to chase their dreams

The 43-year-old father from Local Timber, Wailevu, has proven that age is no obstacle to achieving personal goals after graduating from the Plumbing and Sheetmetal Level 3 programme at Pacific Polytech at Kshatriya Hall in Labasa yesterday.

“It has always been my dream to show that age doesn’t matter when it comes to learning and achieving,” Mr Tulovo said.

Mr Tulovo, who plans to run his own business in the future, said his journey would not have been possible without the unwavering support of his wife, Losena Tulovo.

“She was my rock during the difficult days and constantly motivated me to keep going,” he said.

His achievement highlights the importance of lifelong learning and determination.

By pursuing further education later in life, he hopes to inspire others in his community to chase their ambitions, regardless of age.

“We can achieve a lot in our lives despite our age. Age is no barrier. When there’s a will, there’s a way," he added.

Pacific Polytech’s programmes are designed to equip adults with practical skills for the workforce.

Mr Tulovo’s success story serves as a reminder that with perseverance and support, it is never too late to follow one’s dreams.
