Students urged to stay focused as Term 2 begins tomorrow

Students returning to school for Term 2 tomorrow are being encouraged to stay focused, disciplined and committed to their studies.
Education Minister Aseri Radrodro said hard work and determination were essential for academic success, urging students to make the most of every opportunity this term offers.
“Education is the key to unlocking your future. Your dreams and aspirations can become a reality through dedication and perseverance,” he said.
Mr Radrodro also reminded students and parents that bus card redemption services were now available at designated locations.
He acknowledged the support of donor partners in helping meet the needs of schools and students and ensuring access to quality education.
The Ministry said it would continue supporting initiatives aimed at improving learning conditions and student performance nationwide.
Parents, communities urged to support students
Parents, guardians and community leaders are being urged to play a greater role in supporting students.
Mr Radrodro highlighted the importance of collaboration between families, schools and the wider Vanua to ensure student success.
He reminded parents of their role in promoting regular school attendance, healthy routines and positive behaviour at home.
“Education is a shared responsibility, and we encourage parents and communities to work closely with school leaders to support our children,” Mr Radrodro said.
He also acknowledged the commitment of teachers and school leaders, reaffirming Government support for delivering quality education across the country.
The Ministry said strong partnerships would be key to achieving better educational outcomes this year.
