The people of Tailevu now have easier access to recycling and opportunities to earn extra income following the opening of a new Return & Earn Fiji collection centre at Korovou Market.
The facility is the 15th Return & Earn collection centre in Fiji and the third site within the Nausori Town Council municipality.
Return & Earn Fiji representative Dwain Qalovaki said the centre would make recycling more accessible to households, schools, businesses, vendors and community groups.

Nausori Town Council Special Administrator Paula Navunisaravi said the new site would expand access to recycling while creating opportunities for communities to earn additional income.
“Return & Earn is creating opportunities for families, students, community groups, faith-based organizations and businesses to generate additional income while helping keep our communities clean,” he said.
Mr Navunisaravi said the council remained committed to initiatives that reduced litter, promoted responsible waste management and encouraged community participation.
The Korovou centre follows the recent launch of the Nakasi collection centre and is part of Return & Earn Fiji’s expanding national network.
More than 7.5 million beverage containers were recovered through the network during the first six months of 2026, with collection centres now operating across eight municipalities.
