Ten couples graduated from the Marist Training Centre, otherwise known as ‘Tutu’, on Thursday.
The Taveuni-based vocational centre was established in 1969, with a vision to train and empower young men and women to utilise and develop their own resources.
More then 7,000 young farmers, fishers, foresters and entrepreneurs were trained here and are now serving their respective communities.

The 10 couples underwent a six-month- skillset training and course, where they were taught screen printing, carpentering and sewing to list a few.
