11% Of Fijians Experience Sextortion, Study Reveals

The 2021 Global Corruption Barometer (GCB) published by Transparency International (TI), says these were from people who used public services in the previous 12 months.

A recent study conducted on corruption has shown that 11 per cent of Fijians had experienced sextortion in the public service.

According to the Oxford Dictionary sextortion is the practice of extorting money or sexual favours from someone by threatening to reveal evidence of their sexual activity.

The 2021 Global Corruption Barometer (GCB) published by Transparency International (TI), says these were from people who used public services in the previous 12 months.
