Rajiv Prasad’s plans to operate a restaurant has come full circle with the opening of Think Curry House, in Nadi Town.
His father, Ravin Prasad was beaming with pride because the new $12,000 restaurant was an addition to their Think Driving School founded in 2016.
“We opened this month because I started the building aspect in March,” said Rajiv Prasad, who is also a driving instructor.

“So, I thought of opening one here, with the investment over $12,000. From scratch, we had an empty space and we constructed things inside and painted everything,” he said.
There are five staff members with three in the kitchen under the watchful eyes of his wife, Shiyal Prasad.
They make Asian dishes of all sorts and have some specials on the weekends with favourable responses from customers.
Mr Prasad, who is from Navo, Nadi, together with his father also owns a fleet of vehicles, which is used by the Lands Transport Authority and some for transfers as well.
Plans for extension
His next plan is to extend the restaurant into a wine and dine with spaces at the side of the property.
“Will see how things go. Maybe after three months, I will try to apply for a liquor licence to make it a wine and dine,” he said.
