The school, which caters for around 150 students from years one to eight, including 50 boarders, has struggled for years with inadequate facilities, leading to poor attendance and student dropouts.
Head teacher Sisa Tamani expressed gratitude to Mr Chand for responding to their plea for help, which was shared via 'Facebook'.
"We were in desperate need of a reliable water supply. Now, with two new tanks holding a combined capacity of 20,600 litres, the entire school has access to good, pressurised water," Mr Tamani said.
He added that the donation had eliminated the frequent disruptions to classes caused by water shortages.
The Trust also provided desks and chairs for 17 Year 1 students and mattresses for all boarding students.
"With proper beds, our boarders can now enjoy a restful night, helping them focus and perform better each school day," Mr Tamani said.
"We see JP Bayly Trust as an answer to the prayers of our students, parents, and stakeholders."
Ms Lata said the Trust was pleased to support the school and acknowledged the Winifred Irving Trust Fund for partnering with them last year to enhance children's education and welfare in Labasa.
