1705 Marijuana Plants Uprooted in Savusavu
Three farms in Wawaku and 145 plants on Nabalebale Hill in Viani had their plants uprooted on Tuesday.

Police in the Northern Division uprooted 1705 green plants believed to be marijuana last week in Savusavu.
From Viani Village, two plants were uprooted last Monday.
Three farms in Wawaku and 145 plants on Nabalebale Hill in Viani had their plants uprooted on Tuesday.

Last Wednesday 204 plants were uprooted from Navakavaka’s Nasavi farm and 139 from Navadra farm.
A day later 289 plants were found at a farm on Natuvu Hill.

“We thank members of the community for assisting us in the fight against drugs,” ACP Driu said.
“The war against drugs continues and we are working closely with our stakeholders to identify the owners of the farms.”
