23-year-old Lakena, Nausori Resident Dies In A Fatal Motor Accident

A 23-year-old man from Lakena in Nausori died following a motor vehicle accident in Sigatoka this morning.

The alleged incident occurred near Vatukarasa Village after 4am.

The victim allegedly lost control of the vehicle he was driving causing it to veer off the road.

He was rushed to the Sigatoka Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

The road death toll currently stands at 40 compared to 58 for the same period last year.
