3.2 Tonnes Of Cocaine Found Floating In Pacific Ocean, Fiji Police Liaising With NZ Authorities

Fiji Police Force is liaising with the New Zealand counterparts in relation to more than three tonnes of cocaine found floating in the Pacific Ocean last week.

Operation Hydros - a joint mission by New Zealand Police, Customs and the Defence Force - seized 81 bales of the drug, totalling 3.2 tonnes, with an estimated street value of $500 million.

Radio New Zealand (RNZ) reported that the bust was the largest find by “some margin”.
