Sharing the good news with factory workers at the Drasa Mill, Pine Group Chief Executive Officer, Vimlesh Kumar said the organisation had always looked after the best interest of its employees.
“The wage review of four percent to all hourly paid employees of FPL, TWIL and TWPL is justifying the principles of the Pine Group of Companies and how we run our industry,” Mr Kumar said.
“This truly depicts why the Pine Group of Companies is unique."
"We value our people; our relationship with our workers is more of “emotion” than “contractual”.
We have our people with all our heart, and we want them to grow within our industry.”
He said the pandemic was a classic example of how the organisation strategised its business goals, adding that with pride the Pine Group sustained employment of all employees.
Mr Kumar also said that during the pandemic employees continued receiving pay increments and bonuses.
“The recent unforeseen events (bad weather, fluctuation of global market) had affected our business substantially however none of our workers have been impacted,” he said.
“The organisation is facing enormous challenges; however, it has also considered the fact that the cost of living has risen sharply due to global market forces.”
The hard-working staff members of the Pine Group have been acknowledged for their commitment toward their role and the industry.
