40 Fiji Laws To Be Reviewed
The Coalition Government has identified more than 40 laws for review under its 2022-2023 Legislative Programme.

The Coalition Government has identified more than 40 laws for review under its 2022-2023 Legislative Programme.
This is in addition to the regulation of nightclub opening hours, regulation of aquaculture, review of Fiji’s national defence and national security and reviving the Law Reform Commission.
Outlining the programme in Parliament on Monday, Attorney-General Siromi Turaga said Government was determined to review and repeal laws that suppressed basic human rights, media freedom, freedom of expression, freedom of association and individual and group rights.
