$45,000 In Prize Money To Be Awarded On Christmas Draw Of National 'Win Together' Sweepstakes

Following the successful vaccination of nearly 92% of adults in Fiji and the commencement of vaccinations for those aged 12-17, the application window for the Christmas Draw of the 'Win Together' Sweepstakes will open from 6am on Tuesday, 14 December 2021, to 6pm on Thursday, 16 December 2021.

As of today, 13 December 2021, 91.4% of adults in Fiji have received two doses of a vaccine and 97.1% have received one dose.

56,124 Fijians between the ages of 12-17 have received one dose of a vaccine and 32,944 have received two doses.

The Christmas Win Together Sweepstakes will be broadcast LIVE on the Fijian Government Facebook page on Christmas Eve.

For the first time, the national draw will include those below the age of 18 who have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.

$45,000 in prize money will be awarded in the third round of the sweepstakes.

10 Fijians above the age of 18 who have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine will be awarded $3,500 each, and 20 Fijians between the ages 12 and 17 who have received both doses of a vaccine will be awarded $500 each.

The lottery is open to all Fijians living in Fiji who have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine before 6am on 16 December 2021.

Anyone who receives their second dose of vaccine after the closing date will not be eligible to apply.

The platform will close at 6am on 16th December 2021.

Applicants who have already applied for a previous draw need not re-apply.

How to Apply if you are 18 years or older:

Applicants aged 18 years and above who have not applied before must provide their birth registration number or citizenship number, their first and last name, reference number on the vaccine card, date of birth, Tax Identification Number, and the date and site of their first and second dose, which can be found on the vaccine card.

Once this information is ready, applicants can dial *166# to enter the sweepstakes.

How to Apply if you are aged 12 - 17 years:

Those aged 12 to 17 years will be automatically registered in the Win Together Sweepstake platform provided that consent was granted by a parent or guardian at the time of registration on the Vaccine Registration System (VRS).

There is no need to re-apply.

Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Details on fourth draw of the Win Together Sweepstakes which will be held on New Year’s Day will be announced at a later date.
