17 Year Old Who Allegedly Stole Items Worth More Than $18,000 Appears In Court
He allegedly stole items worth more than $18,000 from a woman who fell asleep while traveling in a minibus last week.

Lasarusa Kaulotu of Kalabu was produced at the Nausori Magistrates Court at 2pm yesterday.
The 17-year-old appeared before Magistrate Shageeth Somaratne. He allegedly stole items worth more than $18,000 from a woman who fell asleep while traveling in a minibus last week.
The 26-year-old woman discovered her personal items missing when she woke up while traveling along the Suva-Nausori corridor on Saturday morning. This was when the alleged incident took place.

Investigators tracked the accused to his home in Kalabu and found the GPS machine worth $17,000 in his possession.
The accused has been charged with one count of theft.
He will be remanded at the boys centre. The case will be called again on February 22nd at the Nausori Magistrate Court.
