Man Accused In Road Fatality Case Out On Bail
The court heard that on February 16 at Korovuto, Nadi, the accused drove a motor vehicle in a manner which was dangerous to his passenger, namely, Joeli Wa- levu, died in the accident.

A 23-year-old carpenter charged with dangerous driving occasioning death was released on bail by the Nadi Magistrate Court yesterday.
The matter has been adjourned to April 4 for plea.
Kolaia Nabaro of Koroqaqa, Ba appeared before Magistrate Siromi Turaga with one count of dangerous driving occasioning death and two counts of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm.

The court also heard that this same incident caused injuries to Mosese Bote and Kini Vunitali.
Police prosecution constable Iliesa Namanulava represented the state.
The court heard that the accused is a first offender and he is married with one child.
Magistrate Turaga released the accused with a $1500 cash bail. He had to hand over his travel documents to the registry.
He will have to report to the Ba Police Station on Sundays between 8am – 9pm and not to reoffend while on bail.
He must attend court at all times and not interfere with the prosecution witnesses.
