500 Prosthetic Limbs Fitted Across Labasa, Suva And Nadi
He said this grant in aid project involving an expenditure of $670,000 has been fully funded by the Government of India as part of “India for Humanity’’ programme.

As of November 1, 2022 till to date, more than 500 prosthetic limbs have been fitted out in the Jaipur Foot Camp across the three locations (Labasa, Suva and Nadi) in Fiji.
Another 100 limbs will be fitted out over this week in Labasa before the camp moves for the final week in Suva.
High Commissioner of India to Fiji Palaniswamy Subramanyan Karthigeyan said this during the International Day for Persons with Disabilities celebration at Labasa School for Special Education last Saturday.
