Police officers continue to face situations on the ground where people have been stopped and advised that they cannot enter or exit the demarcated Lautoka lockdown areas due to the COVID-19 situation.

These include those coming in via the main highways and via sea.

While majority have cooperated, there continues to be a handful that were intent on trying to beat the measures implemented on the ground.

We humbly request everyone to cooperate with us during the lockdown period and avoid getting into situations that could further complicate issues faced by authorities on the ground.
