Seven suspended correction s personnel, in two separate cases, appeared at the Magistrate’s Court in Suva yesterday charged for allegedly assaulting a remandee and an inmate.

Seven suspended correction s personnel, in two separate cases, appeared at the Magistrate’s Court in Suva yesterday charged for allegedly assaulting a remandee and an inmate.
Five Fiji Corrections Service (FCS) personnel are facing charges for allegedly assaulting a 22-year-old man at the Suva Remand Centre last December, while two are facing charges for allegedly assaulting a 38-year-old inmate in the cell at the Suva Prison last month.
In the first case, the five officers are Selesitino Naeqe, Silivenusi Cavidi, Isimeli Tabulawaki, Samuela Tavite and Nemia Drauna.
