A 54-Year-Old Man Dies After Being Struck By Lightning
The deceased was a rice farmer. He is survived by his wife and three children.

A 54-year-old man was struck by lightning on Tuesday evening at Vunivau, Bua which resulted in his death.
Vijay Kumar was helping out in a funeral gathering at Vunivau when the incident happened.
Advisory Councillor Ramesh Lal said: “Everything happened so fast and everyone is still in a state of shock.

“It was a sad scene because another man died at the funeral gathering,” he said.
The deceased was a rice farmer. He is survived by his wife and three children.
Police spokesperson Savaira Tabua confirmed the incident which took place on April 20 at around 6pm.
