A-G Siromi Turaga Clarifies Matters On Sayed-Khaiyum's Trust Account Application

Attorney-General Siromi Turaga is seeking clarification from his officers on a few matters before he would have to decide on the application of a trust account from FijiFirst general secretary Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.

Last Thursday, Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said he had written to the A-G applying for a trust account in the hope to start a law firm in the Western Division.

Yesterday the A-G confirmed receiving the application. “I have not responded to it because that with other applications was held back due to some matters which I need some clarification from the officers,” Mr Turaga said.
