Attorney-General (A-G) and Minister for Justice Siromi Turaga will summon senior officers of the Fiji Corrections Service this week in light of brutality claims at the Suva Remand Centre.
Steven Morrvan, 22, is alleged to have been severely beaten by officers last December after he was allegedly found with contraband (suki).
A few days later, he experienced extreme abdominal pains and was admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital (CWMH) in Suva.
