Adequate Medical Supplies In Stock, Says Ministry

The Ministry of Health and Medical Services is reassuring the public that there is adequate supply of medical stock available at the Fiji Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Services.

There were also concerns raised by the public on the lack of antibiotics and X-Ray films supplied at some health facilities around the country.

In a statement, the ministry said: “Stocks for both items are on their shelves and the Fiji Pharmaceutical & Biomedical Services are validating the supplies with health facilities to ensure stocks are readily available.”

Fiji Pharmaceutical Society President Reenal Chand said they were managing their stock, limiting supplies to customers so that they do not give it all at once.
