Adi Tema Resigns As FijiFirst President

In November 2021, she was appointed to be the president of the party, replacing Ratu Wiliame Katonivere who is currently the President of Fiji.

Adi Tema Sovau Varo has resigned from her role as the FijiFirst President since last year.

That was confirmed by a FijiFirst party official yesterday.

Adi Tema is chief of Saunaka Village which is entitled as the Marama Taukei Naua.

She and her husband, Joseva Uluinadi, have six children.

Attempts to reach the Marama Taukei Naua for comments were unsuccessful.

The party general secretary, Faiyaz Koya was contacted for comments, but he referred all questions to the former Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama. Attempts to get a comment from Mr Bainimarama was unsuccessful. Questions have also been sent to the Fijian Elections Office.
