Ali Quits Legal Aid

Legal Aid Commission director, Shahin Ali, has resigned.

Mr Ali’s resignation was confirmed to the Fiji Sun by a government official on Friday.

Attempts to get comments from the Attorney-General and Minister for Justice Siromi Turaga on Friday night were unsuccessful when this edition went to press.

However, the government was expected to release a statement on Mr Ali’s resignation.
