Alleged Cop Killer Trial Begins Next Monday
It is alleged that on October 21 2019, Lalaobouma took out a kitchen knife and stabbed the late Constable Niumataiwalu who was attempting to apprehend him for allegedly seriously assaulting and robbing a 52-year-old farmer along Yaweni Street, Lautoka.

The caution interview for alleged cop killer Vilimoni Lalaobouma will be used as evidence for his trial this week.
This was ruled by Justice Sunil Sharma.
Lalaobouma appeared at the High Court in Lautoka yesterday for the voir dire ruling and was represented by Jowen Singh while the state was represented by Unal Dev Lal.

Justice Sharma adjourned the matter to February 7 for the trial to commence and issued a production order for Lalaobouma.
